R136-TS NEW 2008

In 2008 Gilles developed a new pulled loader model R136-TS

The R136-TS model is a pulled loader for sugar beet and chicory. Sugar beet which are picked up by the R136-TS are loaded onto tipping trailers which run besides the R136-TS. When designing this new R136-TS model, Gilles had 2 objectives. On the one hand the constructor further improved the concept of the renowned R136T. On the other hand the R136-TS’ design responds to the new trends which can be observed in the market. Higher yields up to more than 100 tons/ha, the use of larger and especially higher tipping trailers and the increasing size of the cultivated parcels are the main trends observed.

All technical evolutions of the R136-TS are aligned with the above mentioned trends of higher yields, larger parcels and higher trailers. For this purpose, the unloading height has been increased to 3,80m ( 70 cm). This makes that the extension chain is almost in a horizontal position when unloading and that the distance between the trailer and the loader can be widened to increase safety and work comfort.

The design of the R136T assures that 50% of the weightis put onto the tractor. Moreover, its wheels follow the tracks of the tractor. All this gives an ideal balance to the machine and assures good traction. This way, the R136T can also be used in extremely heavy conditions in the field. The extra large diameter of the cleaning turbine (1,90m) and the adjustable rotation speed of the turbine ensure excellent cleaning results without injuring the beet.

The intermediate tanker increases the efficiency of the pulled loader significantly. Due to its intermediate tanker the R136T is able to continue operating autonomously over a distance of 80m. This enables a continuation of the loading process while changing trailers or when the trailer can’t run in parallel with the loader.
